The health and safety of our members, staff, and community are of our deepest concern. For that reason, we are following the latest recommendations and closing our lobbies at our 10 branch locations (the Putnam Academy branch is closed) and sending all non-essential staff home.
Our drive-up windows will be operating during their normal business hours. You can also access thousands of surcharge-free ATMs through the AllPoint and SUM networks.
Remote Access Reduces Risks
If you haven’t already done so, this is a great time to take advantage of our comprehensive mobile and online banking and loan services, including remote check deposit, online bill pay and direct deposit. You can easily enroll online. Not only will this allow you to practice social distancing, but you will save time and be able to bank when it is most convenient for you.
Here for You
We also understand that there may be instances where members find themselves facing financial difficulties as a result of this situation. To that end, we are waiving penalties for early withdrawal on certificates, and Christmas and Holiday Club accounts.
Please be aware that we are working on a loan deferment program for loan members at Freedom Credit Union who have been negatively impacted by the coronavirus outbreak. The program will assist members who are unable to make their monthly loan payments as a result of this temporary hardship. Please call our loan department at (844) 316-6791.
As always, please reach out to us if you have any questions so we can help find a solution for you. Please call our Member Contact Center at (413) 739-6961 or toll-free at (800) 821-0160 to speak with a representative by phone or video chat or to learn how to e-sign documents for loans.
