Additional Precautions
Please know that Freedom Credit Union has taken serious measures to help protect our staff and members. Here are some of our current safety measures that will continue to be in effect until further notice.
- Access to Freedom Credit Union branches will be limited in order to comply with government guidance on occupancy limits and to maintain social distancing in our lobbies.
- Freedom Credit Union requires our employees, members, and visitors to follow the social distancing requirements established by the CDC, including maintaining six-foot social distancing for employees and members of the general public when possible.
- Plexiglass shields have been installed on our teller lines and new member account desks.
- All employees are required to wear masks at all times while servicing members in our branches.
- Members and visitors are required to wear masks at all times while in our branches. Members who do not have a mask will be required to conduct business at our drive-up.
- A greeter will allow member access based on occupancy limits at each location. Members and visitors will be asked for ID when entering the office and will be directed to an available representative.
- To facilitate social distancing, we have marked six-foot distances in our branch lobbies. Additionally, seating in lobby areas has either been removed or will have at least six feet of separation.
- Our restrooms are closed to the public until further notice.
- Hand sanitizer will be available for member use when entering or exiting our branches.
- We continue to encourage members to use our drive-up when possible to help minimize person to person interactions.
- We also encourage members to continue to conduct new account opening and loan applications electronically through our website.
- We are asking members to promptly exit the credit union upon completion of their transaction to help minimize the number of people in the lobbies.
